Origin Story

The Falchion Knife | Stained was introduced to CS2 on May 26, 2015, as part of the Operation Bloodhound update. This knife features a forced patina, created by dripping lemon and mustard onto its surface, resulting in an irregularly stained appearance. Its visual identity is characterized by muted silver and steel tones, accented with grey, brownish, and yellowed stain patches, giving it a weathered stainless-steel look. The Stained finish is generally regarded as a budget-friendly, utilitarian knife option for those who appreciate a worn, industrial aesthetic.

• Minimal Wear ($148.50): The visual condition is still very close to Factory New, with the patina pattern intact, though the metal may look slightly duller or show faint marks on edges.
• Field-Tested ($111.75): The metal and patina become darker and more uniformly worn, making the knife appear more heavily used, particularly on the blade spine and near the tip.
• Well-Worn ($115.88): The patina effect appears heavy and more uniform, with the blade often looking noticeably darker, more stained, and less reflective, displaying broader dark patches.
• Battle-Scarred ($114.55): At high floats, the metal shows very dark, deeply stained areas, with the blade potentially appearing almost smoky or heavily corroded, emphasizing the worn aesthetic.

Stained uses the legacy Falchion Knife model, introduced with Operation Bloodhound on May 26, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
