Origin Story

The Flip Knife | Case Hardened features a distinctive blue, gold, and purple coloration achieved through a traditional color case-hardening process. This finish, applied to the blade, gives each knife a unique pattern, with variations in the amount and placement of the coveted "blue gem" areas. It was introduced to CS2 on August 14, 2013, as part of The Arms Deal update, marking an early entry into the game's cosmetic landscape. The vibrant and unpredictable nature of its pattern makes each Case Hardened knife individually recognizable.

Float range 0 to 1. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($806.17): The blade exhibits its full vibrant blue and yellow pattern with minimal discoloration.
• Minimal Wear ($282.32): Minor darkening of the patina may appear, but the colors largely retain their saturation.
• Field-Tested ($251.30): The blade shows noticeable darkening and reduced color saturation across its surface.
• Well-Worn ($253.74): The patina is significantly darkened, causing the original blue and yellow to appear muted.
• Battle-Scarred ($229.09): The blade is heavily discolored and dark, with the Case Hardened pattern barely visible beneath the extensive patina.

Case Hardened uses the legacy Flip Knife model, introduced with The Arms Deal on August 14, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

Knives are exceptionally rare drops, with a combined drop rate across all knives of approximately 0.26%. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
