Origin Story

The Falchion Knife | Case Hardened was released on May 26, 2015, as part of the Operation Bloodhound update. Its blade is color case-hardened, a process involving the application of wood charcoal at high temperatures, which gives each knife a unique pattern and coloration. The in-game flavor text, "A little color never hurt anyone," playfully alludes to this distinctive finish. The Falchion Knife is available across all wear tiers, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

• Minimal Wear ($277.31): Minor darkening begins to appear, but the distinct case-hardened colors remain prominent.
• Field-Tested ($246.75): The patina effect becomes more noticeable, causing the colors to appear less saturated.
• Well-Worn ($235.21): The metal significantly darkens, and the case-hardened colors lose much of their original intensity.
• Battle-Scarred ($198.58): The finish is heavily patinated, resulting in a significantly muted and darkened appearance across the blade.

Case Hardened uses the legacy Falchion Knife model, introduced with Operation Bloodhound on May 26, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

Knives are exceptionally rare drops from cases, with a combined drop rate of approximately 0.26%. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. Buyers can also acquire this knife directly from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or case-opening sites.
