Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 1. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($247.99): The color patina is most vibrant and glossy, with strong blues and purples appearing saturated and metallic, and edges and the blade tip retaining nearly full color. For pattern hunters, FN is often the premium tier when combined with top-end blue gem patterns.
• Minimal Wear ($138.00): The overall pattern remains very similar to FN, with any wear usually limited to minuscule dulling or tiny silver hints on the blade edge or tip. Many buyers consider MW the best value tier for Case Hardened knives, capturing nearly FN visuals at a lower price.
• Field-Tested ($118.22): The patina begins to look less glossy and more matte, with increased grey or darker steel visible along the edge and near the tip. FT is often the budget entry for people wanting a specific pattern or a Case Hardened Navaja without paying MW/FN premiums.
• Well-Worn ($109.73): The colored layer is noticeably muted, with larger regions of dark or bare-looking steel, especially on high-contact edges. WW tends to be an overlooked middle ground, bought mainly when it happens to host an unusually good pattern at a discount relative to FT.
• Battle-Scarred ($113.52): The patina is heavily worn and dark, with significant portions of the blade appearing grey or dark metal, and remaining color patches are less vibrant. BS is typically a high-float niche, used by collectors who specifically want a very worn look or chase rare pattern seeds regardless of float.

Model

Case Hardened uses the legacy Navaja Knife model, introduced with A New Horizon on August 3, 2018. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Navaja Knife | Case Hardened is obtainable as a rare special item from opening the Horizon Case or the Danger Zone Case. These cases are no longer in active drop pools but remain available for purchase on the Steam Community Market and third-party marketplaces. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
